Georgina Gibson
Georgina Gibson graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in 2013 with a Bachelor of Vision Science/Masters of Optometry. This was the first year students graduated with Ocular Therapeutics included in the degree. Georgie moved to Roma as a graduate, looking to challenge herself.
Georgie enjoys the friendly and relaxed people of Roma and likes working in such a close-knit community. Georgie's favourite part of practise is using her therapeutics to treat a wide range of eye disease. Georgie also enjoys the fashion side of optometry and loves seeing her patient's walk out the door happy in their latest fashion frames.
Leo Ho
Leo graduated from QUT in 2024 with a Bachelor's of Vision Science and a Master's of Optometry. Seeking a broad range of experiences, he made the move to Roma to further develop his skills in disease management, contact lenses, and myopia control. He finds great fulfillment in patient communication, ensuring each individual receives quality eye care tailored to their needs.
Leo enjoys the rewarding nature of optometry, whether it's helping a patient find the perfect pair of sunnies for the Roma heat or successfully managing an eye condition with the right treatment. Seeing patients walk out with a smile is what makes the job so worthwhile.
Outside of the clinic, Leo stays active playing sports, unwinds with computer games, and enjoys cooking up high-protein meals. Whether on the court, behind a screen, or in the kitchen, he brings the same enthusiasm and dedication that he applies to his work in optometry.
